Elusive Objects Six Week Drawing Course

Artist Lily Buchanan will lead you through making drawings from observing wonderful still lifes from an array of objects. From seaweed, adderstones, candles, musical instruments, apples, mushrooms, cakes, pillows to name a few, in front of the beautiful windows looking out to sea. Practice and strengthen your drawing skills in a relaxed environment, working in a variety of materials as the course progresses. Little Swift will be curating wine pairings for each of the evenings. The full course is £80 for all six lessons or £16 for drop in (this does not include drinks).

Together we’ll use our senses to explore the main types and styles of wine, and if the weather permits, we’ll step outside to learn in the inspiring setting of the outdoors in Margate. This course is perfect for anyone who wants to start learning about wine, either for personal interest or for those embarking on a career in wine or hospitality. No prior knowledge is required. Wine School is Upstairs at Little Swift. Price includes tea, coffee and a light lunch.

Learn how to tell a riesling from a Chenin and a Auslese from a Trockenbeerenauslese, with this four day course in winemaking, and wine appreciation. Together we’ll use our senses to explore the main types and styles of wine, and if the weather permits, we’ll step outside to learn in the inspiring setting of the outdoors in Margate. This course is perfect for anyone who wants is working with wine already, has completed their Level One WSET certificate, or has some good experience in drinking wine from across the globe. It is a great baseline from which to launch a career in wine or deeper investigation into wine appreciation with friends and loved ones. Four full days from 9.30-5.30pm and in an excellent course.
