Marking the Grand Finale of our ‘Winemaker in Margate’ events for 2025, we welcome you to join Paul-Henri Thillardon of Domaine Thillardon who will be bringing us some of the most expressive, intense, silky & fun wines you can find. He is in the elite company of the highest regarded few in all of Beaujolais and is lucky enough to call the regions founding ‘Gang of Four’ his close mentors. Get ready for wines to jump out of the glass and hit you with a 3D experience. If you’re a Beaujolais Gamay fanatic or know someone who’s vaguely curious about it, this is the one for you.

Charlie brings his love of Karaoke to Marine Drive to kick off with a free-for-all on any song you’d like, no need to be shy in our upstairs room where you can give an intimate but powerful rendition of your favourite songs. To welcome in this month's spooky season, we will be belting out some Halloween-aligned tunes! Expect Thriller, Rockwell and of course the Monster Mash! Fancy dress definitely encouraged!

In celebration of great seasonal cheese we welcome Andrew of Mons, esteemed French affineurs to help Charlotte wheel out the cheese trolley. 3 Consectiive Mondays of learning, with your exam Tuesday 18th

Learn how to tell a riesling from a Chenin and a Auslese from a Trockenbeerenauslese, with this four day course in winemaking, and wine appreciation. Together we’ll use our senses to explore the main types and styles of wine, and if the weather permits, we’ll step outside to learn in the inspiring setting of the outdoors in Margate.  This course is perfect for anyone who wants is working with wine already, has completed their Level One WSET certificate,  or has some good experience in drinking wine from across the globe.  It is a great baseline from which to launch a career in wine or deeper investigation into wine appreciation with friends and loved ones. Four full days from 9.30-5.30pm and in an excellent course.

Come flight with us, as we welcome the first wines from this year’s harvest with Beaujolais Nouveau. This is now our 5th year ushering in Beaujolais Nouveau in Margate, we will have a whooping three flights for you to journey through Beaujolais Nouveau, Beaujolais Cru and White Beaujolais! We’ll be pouring tableside and imbuing your evening with our Beaujolais knowledge. Walk-ins are always welcome, we do recommend booking in for the night.
